Ce jour, Stewart Copeland était en rencontre dédicace au magasin

'Le Furet Du Nord' de Lille,

auprès de Henry Padovani, premier guitariste du groupe The Police. Animateur de la rencontre, il m'a été impossible de prendre des photos. James Amonchy l'a fait à ma place, je le remercie pour ses clichés.

Nous avons parlé de son film (Everyone Stares : The Police Inside Out qui sort en France le 13 novembre), bien sûr, il était tout de même là pour cela, mais Stewart a également évoqué avec Henry, leurs débuts au sein de The Police, en pleine période punk, il y a près de 30 ans. Un vrai petit événement car c'était la première fois, depuis 1977, que nos deux amis étaient réunis en public pour parler du groupe!

As you may imagine, we mainly talked about his forthcoming DVD ('Everyone Stares : The Police Inside Out - release date : November 13th), but Stewart also conversed with Henry about the early Police days, some 30 years ago. This was an amazing moment as it was the first time, since 1977, that they were brougt together in front of an audience, to talk about the band!
